Bespoke Wooden Carport

A wooden carport is an understated garaging option, designed to provide simple protection for your car. And although a carport is a relatively minimalistic compared to a traditional garage or carriage house, when finished with our characteristic Chart curved bracing, a wooden carport is an elegant and attractive addition to any driveway.

Our wooden carports are built to last, constructed with your choice of pressure-treated FSC certified European softwood or oak-framing. Similar in style to our traditional carriage houses but with open sides, our carports are crafted to meet your specific design and functional requirements and are a marriage of durability and attention to detail.

Design your Wooden carport

We build your carport to order and our team of skilled designers will work with you to create a carport that perfectly aligns with your specifications. Choose from a range of size options such as a single bay carport, double bay carport or triple bay carport, but we also offer bespoke size carports for larger or smaller vehicles and our carports can easily be designed for up to 5+ cars.

Choose from three different roof styles such as a traditional gable roof (full height at either end), barn hip (half hip), or full hip. Equally, the roof finish itself can alter the aesthetics of your carport. As standard we offer hard-wearing Onduvilla roof tiles but with an optional pitch increase - clay or slate tiles are possible (these finishes to be added by your own tiler). Worth considering also are Tapco slates or the timeless and natural look of cedar shingles.

But the customisation doesn't end there. If you want one or more sides of your carport enclosed, we offer the option to add weatherboard or shiplap clad walls as well as doors. This added feature can provide your vehicle with enhanced protection from the elements and additional security. The result is a versatile, multi-purpose space that goes beyond merely sheltering your vehicle. If you want the carport entirely enclosed, then consider a carriage house.

All our wooden carports are designed and constructed in our specialised workshop in Kent. This allows us to maintain rigorous quality control at every stage of the building process. The Chart Garages team can help to guide you through timber choices as well as roofing options and even assist with planning drawings. Once your carport is ready, we deliver and install nationwide, offering you a seamless, hassle-free experience from initial consultation to final installation.

At Chart Garages, we believe that a wooden carport can be more than just a functional space; it can be a stylish, custom-built extension of your home. Choose Chart Garages, and experience the difference that quality craftsmanship and personalisation can make.
