Walls built with 75mm x 50mm (3” x 2”) timber framing, clad with high-quality Shiplap and fitted with a traditional wall eco-breather membrane. Our Clipper Range Garden Workshops are the ideal, value for money garden building soltuion.

Standard Features

Pressure Treated Timber

All internal and external timber used in the building is pressure-treated for longevity (excluding roof purlins) using the Tanalith E™. This is specialist preservative impregnated into the wood before construction that helps avoid fungal decay, wood rot and insect attack.

Timber Framing

Clipper Workshops are made from a pressure treated 75mm x 50mm (3″ x 2″) timber framing, 100mm x 50mm (4″ x 2″) roof purlins and diagonal bracing at corner sections for solid strength and durability.

Workshop Door

A single personal door measuring 838mm wide x 1981mm high (2′ 9″ x 6′ 6″) is fitted as standard to every Workshop. Framed, ledged and braced, faced with Shiplap, lined with an eco-breather membrane between the timber framing and exterior cladding and fitted with a five levered mortice door lock. Its fitted into a pressure treated door frame and we offer you the choice whether it opens inwards or outwards.

Windows

One 980mm x 662mm (39” x 26”) single glazed window (one opening and one fixed Pane) or one clear roof sheet is included in buildings up to and including 3.6m (12’) in length. Two windows are fitted as standard in longer Workshops. Alternative single glazed or double glazed windows are available.

Insulation

A wall breather membrane is placed between the stud-work and exterior cladding for added insulation and damp protection.

Guttering & Down Pipe

All Workshops come with guttering and down-pipes fitted to both sides as standard – helping with the drainage of rainwater.

Timber Flooring

Floors are constructed using 75mm x 50mm (3” x 2”) framing, spaced at 300mm (12”) centres and covered with 18mm OS Board.

Onduline Roof & Boarding

All Workshop roofs are boarded with 11mm OS Board as an underlining for black Onduline, as standard.

Insulation

To help keep the Workshop warm and dry for use all year round we can supply insulation for the walls and if you are having a flooring structure this can also be supplied with insulation.

Upgrade Roofing Materials

You can easily upgrade the standard black Onduline to a different colour (red, green or brown) and include clear Onduline roof sheets that allow natural light into the workshop. Alternatively we can fit felt tiles (grey, red, green or brown) or an Onduvilla tiles (shaded red, black / grey or shaded brown) for a different aesthetic, to be more in keeping with your natural surroundings.
